What are the Hands Off objectives and rewards in MW3 Zombies
Hands Off is a mission in Operation Deadbolt, MW3 Zombies’ first Act. It tasks you with killing enemies with Sentry Guns and finding a Cyphered Tablet. Doing so rewards you with the Mayhem On Wheels Calling Card and 1500 XP.Â
Here are the main objectives of Hands Off in MW3 Zombies:
- Kill 20 Zombies with Sentry Guns
- Kill 10 Mercenaries with Sentry Guns
- Acquire Cyphered Tablet
While this may sound simple, getting a Sentry Gun itself isn’t straightforward. And once you have one, you’ll need to take down both zombies and mercenaries with it. Considering that the latter are armed, you’ll need to be careful.
Where can you find a Sentry Turret for the Hands Off mission
Sentry Turrets can be purchased from a Buy Station in threat level 2 or higher for 2000 Essence. You can also obtain them by finishing contracts and getting Merc Caches. Here’s how to find and destroy a mercenary convoy in MW3 Zombies for a shot at this item.
Zombie and Mercenary locations for the Hands Off mission
If you’re wondering where to kill Zombies, any spot will do since they’re all over the place. Just remember that Zombies at higher threat tiers will have more health so don’t leave your Sentry Gun unattended. Exfil zones and contracts are good spots where loads of zombies will converge towards you. This will let you clear this MW3 Hands Off objective quickly.
Mercenaries are harder to spot. Some of them swarm you during Defend Ground Station and Aether Extractors contracts. Note that some of them can be armored as well. And if you want to risk it all, consider attacking a Mercenary Stronghold with a keycard. You can get this keycard from a mercenary convoy.
Lower enemy health bars and let Sentry Guns finish the job
If you want to rack up Sentry Gun kills quickly, you can shoot enemies until they’re nearly dead and let it finish enemies.
How to get a Cyphered Tablet for the Hands Off mission
Luckily, there’s no location you need to keep in mind to get a Cyphered Tablet. It has a chance to drop from both mercenaries and zombies. Just kill enough of them and you’re bound to find one soon. Note that the item card has a gold border, making it easier to spot. And if you’re the person who has this mission incomplete, I suggest asking your friends to point you towards one. This is because MW3’s objective tracking can be iffy. You might lose out on finishing the objective even if someone else on the party managed to get a Cyphered Tablet.
