Here is how to change your ballplayer’s position in Road to the Show in MLB The Show 23.

How to change your Road to the Show ballplayer’s position in MLB The Show 23

When you begin your career in Road to the Show in MLB The Show 23, you will have the ability to choose your position right away. Doing this lets you play wherever you want, regardless of the organization’s situation at that spot. However, that doesn’t mean that is where you will always be.

As you play through some games, your coaches will eventually come up and talk with you in the clubhouse. Sometimes, they will mention that the club wants you to try a different position. This will often happen if a star player is blocking you from progressing to the next level. Other times, they will just be interested in seeing how you perform at that spot.

Regardless of how you take that conversation, the final say in where you play is up to you. That being said, if you choose to stay in a spot but there’s no future where you help the team succeed there, they may look to trade you to another team. These are some of the circumstances you will need to remember every time you meet with the coaching staff.

After you have a chance to play a different position for a bit, your manager will have another meeting with you where you can decide if you want to make the change permanent or go back to normal.
