The MLB The Show 23 July Monthly Awards Program players are live in Diamond Dynasty, presenting a new set of Diamond stars for fans to add to their growing Monthly Awards collections. With Season 3 well underway, MLB The Show 23 has introduced plenty of great new content, and the July Monthly Awards Program might very well be on the top of the list.
Similarly to that of the MLB The Show 23 Topps Now Program, which releases players nearly on a weekly basis, the Monthly Awards Program features a brand new set of players for each month of the MLB season, with the June, May, and April Monthly Awards Programs all already live in the game. But considering all the variety of different players that rose to the occasion over the month of July, fans are curious which made the July edition. And we are here to not only show you who made the program, but also how you can go about unlocking them all in MLB The Show 23.
July Monthly Awards Program
Upon entering the July Monthly Awards Program in MLB The Show 23, you will see that it has its very own rewards path that consists of 23 Tiers. Along the reward path, fans will find not only all the new Diamond players, but also a brand-new Yellow Lightening bat skin to equip.
But who are we kidding. Fans who plan on completing the July Monthly Awards Program have their minds set on the new players it offers. And in order to unlock these new prized items, fans will have to progress their way through the reward path by completing July Monthly Awards Program missions, moments, and other tasks available.
Once you start completing these tasks, you will be able to collect the program stars needed to complete the reward path and secure all the new July Monthly Awards players.
July Monthly Awards Captains Series Players
The July Monthly Awards Program comes with two Captain Series players fans can unlock right at the beginning of the reward path, each baring a 95 overall rating:

July Monthly Awards Players (95 Overall)
The July Monthly Awards Program comes with five 95 overall rated players in its reward path – three are located in the 95 OVR July Monthly Awards choice pack while the remaining two are available at different tiers. With three 95 OVR July Monthly Awards choice packs (two at Tier 4 and one at Tier 6), fans will be able to unlock all five of these players.

After including a 96 overall rated player in their June Monthly Awards release for the very first time all year, MLB The Show 23 is back with another in the July collection:

July Monthly Awards Players (97 Overall)
The July Monthly Awards Program 97 overall players make up the largest group of the collection, with four of the eight players coming in the 97 OVR June Monthly Choice Pack while the other four are located on separate tiers. Fans can unlock all four of the 97 OVR Choice Pack players as there are four 97 OVR packs along the reward path.

July Monthly Awards Lightning Player
The grand prize from the July Monthly Awards Program is the new 99 overall Lightning player himself, Chicago Cubs CF, Cody Bellinger. Over the month of July, Bellinger was unstoppable, posting a .400 average with 8 home runs and 24 RBIs.
With 125 contact against righties and lefties, Bellinger also comes with 104 power against right and 101 against lefties. This card is absolutely incredible and one of the most well-balanced that we have seen among all the Lightening Players that have been released in Diamond Dynasty.
