What is the Topps Now Program in MLB The Show 23? Even with two thirds of the 2023 MLB season wrapped up in the books, MLB The Show 23 Diamond Dynasty has remained very active with new drops and content regularly. And among the latest specials it has released, is that of the the fan-favourite Topps Now Program.

In case some of you don’t know, or might have forgotten, the Topps Now Program celebrates special moments that active players have experienced over the course of the season. Topps is the leading sports card collectible company in the United States, making it only fitting for them to sponsor a program that highlights special memories such as baseball cards do.

With over four months of MLB regular season games wrapped up in the books, MLB The Show 23 has plenty to celebrate already. In fact, MLB The Show 23 has now released its full set of April, May, June, and July Topps Now players before going live with its fourth August Topps Now players drop today, August 31. Down below we list all the players available in Diamond Dynasty and how you can unlock them.

The MLB The Show 23 Topps Now Program

The Topps Now Program in MLB The Show 23 is a fun one. And in this feature, we’re going to take you through how you can secure these new players before diving head-on into the April, May, June, July, and August collections.

For starters, the Topps Now Programs come with their own set of program stars within each’s reward path – 122 total for April, 100 for May, 106 for June, 74 for July, and 74 for August so far – all of which can be secured by completing the corresponding Topps Now missions and moments.

As you progress through the moments and missions, you will be able to secure the new Topps Now players as well as other prizes including Topps Now Flashbacks Choice Packs. So without further ado, here’s a look at the full selection of Topps Now Program players from the months of April, May, June, July, and August so far.

May Topps Now Program Milestone Rewards

For those of you who have been playing through the May Topps Now Program, you might have noticed two 99 overall Diamond player items that don’t belong to the Topps Now Program within the reward path.

Over the month of May, two legendary closers made history, and in honor of their historic moments, MLB The Show 23 decided to grant each a 99 Diamond Milestone player card fans can secure in the May Topps Now Program. Here are the two star closers you can unlock:

Milestone May Topps Now Rewards (99 Overall)

  • Kenley Jansen (CP) – 400 Save Club – Tier 30 Reward
  • Craig Kimbrel (CP) – 400 Save Club – Tier 50 Reward

Although Jansen and Kimbrel belong to the Milestone Series, MLB The Show 23 felt it was fitting to add them into the May Topps Now Program reward path seeing that both made history during that month. In order to unlock each closer, fans will have to complete May Topps Now Missions and Moments in order to collect the program stars needed to secure each. Jansen requires 60 program stars while Kimbrel requires 100.
