Maximum Football is a new American Football game coming from Modus. Whether you start out as a college prodigy or want to mix it with the pros from the off, this new game offers you the chance to lead your team to victory.
The new free to play offering is set to rival Madden 24 as a realistic football sim. However, Modus’ Maximum Football aims to offer fans an “ultra-realistic experience” that they won’t have to pay anything for.
Maximum Football release date window
The new game is still in its development phase, but the Maximum Football release date window has been set for 2023. The game is set to come with “unmatched realism and physics” thanks to stunning graphics and gameplay powered by Unreal Engine 5, the sam engine that brings you Fortnite.
A wide range of custom options will be available in the game too. This will allow players to personalise every aspect of their teams and then share their creations with the wider community.
Maximum Football will remain fresh throughout its cycle. According to the website, “the game continues to expand with new downloadable content being rolled out regularly, including fresh new features, new rule sets, new modes, and additional customizations.”

Maximum Football platforms
According to Modus Games official website, Maximum Football is coming soon to consoles. The game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. There is no mention of Nintendo Switch on the website.

Game modes
Maximum Football will feature a variety of game modes, including Dynasty Mode and Pro Season Mode. Players will also be able to make use of crossplay in Online Multiplayer, with Local multiplayer also available.
In Dynasty Mode, players will take the role of head coach and be able to build their ideal league. Recruitment, including drafts, are a key factor in your success as you manage your way to football greatness.
Pro Season Mode offers players the chance to play in a lifelike professional season against 31 other teams. Each team goes head-to-head in a bid for ultimate glory.
Local and Online Multiplayer modes will allow you to compete or team up with your friends. This is a great way to decide who has bragging rights when it comes to dominance on the field.
