Will crossplay be available in Madden 24? Madden 23 left a lot to be desired on various different levels. From glitchy mishaps to a lack of creativity with certain modes, Madden 23 also came with no crossplay. And with Madden 24 only drawing nearer, fans have been wondering whether the newest edition will have crossplay.
The biggest marvel that was ultimately tough to swallow for Madden 23 fans was not only the fact that crossplay came with FIFA 23. But on top of that, it was also available on NHL 23 in a limited capacity, despite EA developing all three sports games. Why EA decided to refrain from incorporating it into Madden 23 is still a bit of a mystery.

Will Madden 24 have crossplay?
EA Sports announced today that crossplay will indeed be coming to Madden 24. This is a monumental change for the series as fans will finally be able to play Madden 24 with their friends across different video game platforms.
Despite this exciting news, crossplay in Madden 24 will have some limitations. To begin with, the new crossplay feature will only be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. So current generation players who still own and play on an Xbox One or PlayStation 4, will not have access to crossplay in Madden 24.
Per Madden 24’s cross-play page, players who choose to crossplay will automatically be added to the crossplay matchmaking pool, and cross-play invites will be available in select multiplayer modes that support inviting friends from your own platform. However, the best part of all, is that players across all supported platforms will be able to invite and join others on the same team or play against each other.
For those wondering what modes will have crossplay, you will be able to play cross-platform in online Head-to-Head, Madden Ultimate Team, Superstar KO, and Superstar Showdown. With the arrival of crossplay in Madden 24, wait times will reduce and matchmaking will be much faster.
