As big a part of Madden as the emphatic touchdowns and hard-hitting tackles is styling on your opponent at each and every opportunity, and what possible better way could there be to do that than to hit the griddy. Alongside some other popular celebrations, the griddy has made its way into the series in recent years, and we’re thankful for it.

So if you’re the kind of person that loves to celebrate each and every touchdown in style, you’ve come to the right place. We’re going to take you through exactly how to griddy in Madden 25, including how it works and which players can do it.

How to hit the griddy in Madden 25

To griddy in Madden 25, you need to score a touchdown with one of the following three players:

• Ja’Marr Chase
• Justin Jefferson
• D.J. Chark

These are the only three players in the game that have the griddy as their ‘Signature’ celebration, so only they are able to do it. Once you score a touchdown with one of these players, a UI element will appear on your screen giving you four options to celebrate. Flick the right analog stick down to select the ‘Signature’ option, and they’ll immediately hit the griddy for your enjoyment, and to your opponent’s frustration. 

While these are the only players that can griddy on command, there is a chance that other players can pull it out at random. There are rare instances where a player will, for some reason, decide it’s their turn and hit the griddy of their own accord – but like we said, it’s rare.

Additionally, the fact that these three players can hit the griddy, does not mean they have to. They still all have three other options to celebrate, so if you want to save your griddying for special occasions, you can do that too.
