Madden 25, just like other games before it, features a standard camera angle. However, this is not how all players prefer to play. Depending on the game mode or your style, you may want to use something other than the alternate style the game sets by default. Fortunately, there are a few options for both offense and defense, so you can totally customise your experience.

How to change camera
To change the camera in Madden 25, pause the game you’re playing. Scroll down and select Options and then press Settings. Navigate to the Visual Feedback option. This is where all the visual settings are found. Near the bottom of the page, there is a section labeled Camera. There, you’ll find the camera angle for both offense and defense. You can change it at your leisure.
The options are: Standard, All-22, Wide, Zoom, and Broadcast. Zoom, for example, essentially puts the camera into player focus. Whichever player you’re controlling will be the focus of the screen. It’s very zoomed in, as the name would suggest. This sort of mirrors the Road to Glory view in College Football 25. Wide draws the camera back out but not up, which is what broadcast does.
When to change camera in Madden 25
You can tinker with the options to find what best suits you, but we prefer the Standard view. We’ve played a lot of different Madden games, and that has primarily been the only camera angle we have used. It’s stood the test of time and it’s the one we still use in Madden 25. The others can take some adjustment since you either see or don’t see things in a different way than you might be used to.
The game mode matters here. If you’re playing Superstar mode, it might be better to use the Zoom angle. If you’re controlling one player, it might be smart to focus on them. Although if you’re controlling the whole team in Franchise Mode, you may want to consider widening the angle even further.
It’s ultimately up to you, but there are different scenarios for each angle. As mentioned, you can also use Zoom on offense and Broadcast on defense if you choose. EA allows for customisation like that this time around.
