Madden 25’s best teams for each spot in Superstar Mode:

  • QB: Denver Broncos
  • RB: Carolina Panthers
  • WR: Carolina Panthers
  • CB: Buffalo Bills
  • LB: Tennessee Titans

Madden 25 has brought Superstar Mode back, which means it’s your chance to live out your NFL dreams. Ever wanted to be a star running back, quarterback, cornerback, or other position? Now you can. To effectively live out your dreams, you will probably not enjoy sitting on the bench or taking the spot of an established star that would only serve to hurt the team. For that reason, you need the best teams for each position.

Quarterback

The best team for a quarterback in Madden 25 Superstar Mode would be the Denver Broncos. Yes, they did just trade for Zach Wilson and drafted Bo Nix in the first round, but they are rated 68 and 71 OVR, respectively. That’s hardly a team that has an established player or someone they’re completely sold on at the QB position. The New York Jets are also interesting solely because Aaron Rodgers is quite old now.

Other teams and the players you’d need to beat out at quarterback are:

  • New York Giants, Daniel Jones (71 OVR)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers, Russell Wilson (76 OVR)
  • New Orleans Saints, Derek Carr (75 OVR)

Running Back

It’s a little easier to be a running back and it’s a little less important which team you go to. Plenty of them have two running backs that get carries, so being the backup isn’t the end of the world. With that said, the Carolina Panthers are an intriguing option. Currently, 78 OVR Chuba Hubbard is the starter, and you could outdo that quickly. Other teams that could use a running back are:

  • Las Vegas Raiders
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Arizona Cardinals

Wide Receiver

Wide receiver is even easier to make inroads than running back. Teams use three of them and sometimes even four. Once again, the Panthers make a lot of sense here. Diontae Johnson is on a one-year deal and he’s still only an 83. Behind him, it’s pretty open for your Superstar Mode player to take over and get a big role. Consider other options that have light depth charts at WR:

  • New England Patriots
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Los Angeles Chargers

Cornerback

Cornerback is a position that is very difficult to play in Madden 25, but it’s not one that should require a lot of development to actually get on the field. The best team for this position is the Buffalo Bills. They had a mass exodus on defense, and that included a couple of cornerbacks. You’d have little trouble breaking in. Consider these teams, too:

  • Carolina Panthers
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Washington Commanders

Linebacker

There are usually multiple linebackers on the field. It does depend on which specific linebacker spot you pick, but you can usually make it onto the field at any of the right, middle, or left linebacker spots no matter what if you’re OVR gets good enough. To do so, the best team to try is the Tennessee Titans. They run two interior linebackers at all times, and you can easily break through their depth chart.

You can try the following teams:

  • Carolina Panthers
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Washington Commanders
  • Arizona Cardinals
