Is Lords of the Fallen multiplayer? When it comes to grim fantasy action games centred around melee combat, you will always want to have a group of friends nearby to help you tackle any monstrosity you come across.

The first Lords of the Fallen game from 2014 featured some online compatibility, and that gives us hope that the newest version of this game will feature the same co-op and PvP systems from before. Mournstead is always better when explored with a friend, after all.

Is Lords of the Fallen 2023 multiplayer?

Yes, Lords of the Fallen will have multiplayer when it launches. Thankfully, you and three friends can play through the whole game together. One of the biggest problems with Souls-like games is the limited and stifled co-op, so it’s nice to see them have zero barriers on multiplayer for those who want it.

Co-op is not mandatory at all, but having the option to play with friends is always welcome. As it stands, no PvP features are going to be in the game, but player-vs-player combat and challenges could be added through an expansion or update in the future.

Does Lords of the Fallen 2023 support local co-op?

While Lords of the Fallen might have full multiplayer using an online connection, there is no support for local co-op. According to the PSN page for the game, multiplayer is locked to online only. Sadly, this is the norm with most games these days, since having a split screen feature is thought to severely hinder the experience. Just because there isn’t couch co-op doesn’t mean the game can’t be enjoyed by two people having copies of the game.

That’s all we know about Lords of the Fallen multiplayer. If you want more, we have guides covering whether Lords of the Fallen will come to Xbox Game Pass and if it will be an open-world game.
