Tips for defeating the Infernal Enchantress

The Infernal Enchantress may seem annoying at first but she can be taken down pretty easily. When you enter the fight, you will first need to destroy her fire barrier. Looking at the health bar of the boss, you will see a blue orb indicating that she is protected by parasites.

To destroy the barrier, you must destroy the four parasites linked to the boss. Use your Umbral Lamp to destroy them. They are found in the following areas:

  • On the wooden walkway
  • Directly in front of the massive fire
  • On the right side of the boss arena near the wall with bodies on spikes
  • In the back of the arena near the destroyed stone bridge

Once all four parasites are destroyed, the barrier will drop and you can attack the Infernal Enchantress without getting harmed.

With the barrier destroyed, get close to the boss and attack. You can typically get in two to three hits before between attacks. Attack the boss and then wait for a move. As long as you stay close to her, she will typically use her flamethrower or lava swipe attacks, making it easy to avoid getting hit.

If you strafe too far away, she will throw fireballs. If this happens, dodge to the side and get in close again. Finally, she will occasionally gather power and explode. When this happens, back away from her and wait for her to reappear in the arena. You can get in some attacks before she performs another move.

Keep repeating the process of attacks and dodging until she goes down. Once defeated, you can use a Vestige Seed in the arena or travel back to the previous Vestige to rest.
