2K’s latest installment in the wrestling series promises to take things up a notch and the WWE 2K24 release date is almost upon us. WWE 2K23 went down a storm and the new game will look to improve upon that.Â
A popular game and a popular console should go hand-in-hand, pleasing fans, developers, and the money-men alike! However, Switch users don’t always get the titles they’re after.

Will WWE 2K24 be on the Switch?
Unfortunately, WWE 2K24 will not be on the Nintendo Switch. As with the most recent previous installments of the game, it will be excluded from the beloved handheld console.
This won’t come as much of a surprise, given that the last series installment to make an appearance on Switch was WWE 2K18! Also, sports titles aren’t the most popular for the console, which often sees it left behind in that gaming category. However, there was some hope among the community that this would be the year for a return. This is because NBA 2K gets a yearly release on the platform.
Some believe that the title will never return to the platform, with WWE 2K18 savaged by fans and critics. There has been plenty of time for developers to try and make it work on the Switch, but maybe it’s just not meant to be.
With that being said, if there is enough demand for the game to come on the Switch then it could be ported at some point in the future. Fan campaigns can pick up a lot of steam these days. But, it will take a big movement from the community to prove to the developers that there is a wide audience for this combination.
