Is Assassin’s Creed Mirage an RPG?
As we mentioned before, previous incarnations of Assassin’s Creed games have had RPG elements to them. This includes progression systems for your characters and weapons. If you weren’t a fan of those, then Assassin’s Creed Mirage is your saving grace, as there aren’t any of these elements in the game.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is taking a different approach and going back to basics. This means that there’s a return to a focus on stealth and parkour. You’re going to focus on sneaking around, jumping from place to place, and blending in with the crowds and surroundings all while stealthily assassinating your targets.
With that, you’re going to more immersed in the experience of the game, rather than worrying about how you’re going to get your next upgrade for your daggers. Now there may still be other role playing elements to the game, such as decision trees but there won’t be any RPG style leveling and progression systems.
