What Is Whisper Chat In Valorant?
The Whisper chat allows you to chat with any of your online friends in the game. It is available in the game’s main menu and in-game (while you’re playing a match), so you don’t miss out on any text from a teammate.
Also, while the other chats require you to be in a team or a match with whomever you are talking with, Whisper chat does not come with that limitation. This means you can message anyone in your friendlist, even if they’re offline.
What sets Whisper Chat apart is its secrecy, since your chat will only be displayed to the person you’ve selected to talk to. Any other people in your lobby or party won’t know what you’re up to, making it a great way to gossip about other teammates with your best bud!
How Can You Whisper In Valorant
You can start a Whisper chat with someone by clicking on the text box on the bottom left of the screen. From there, press Tab and type in the name of the person you wish to chat with or choose the right person from the recommendations displayed.
Once you’ve selected the person you want to talk to, type your message and hit Enter to send.
