As Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls nears a close, the community is buzzing with excitement about how players are learning Spider-Man’s high skill set, converting him into a game-changer capable of turning the tide in even the most chaotic battles. Spider-Man’s popularity stems from his versatility—he combines incredible mobility with precise, web-based assaults that require ingenuity and dexterity.

From diving into opponent backlines to disrupting healers, top players have boosted his potential, earning him a reputation as a nightmare to face in high-level matchups. His high learning curve hasn’t deterred die-hard supporters; instead, it’s inspired a wave of creativity as players realize his full potential.

Among the most widely discussed methods are ingenious tricks that make use of his web-based arsenal, particularly those that send enemies scrambling—or plummeting off the map. If you’re still wondering how to do that, we’ve got the best methods for you right here.

Best Marvel Rivals methods to pull enemies off the map as Spider-Man

While there are numerous tricks that players employ to pull enemies off the map, we’ve listed the five best methods that are more commonly used in Marvel Rivals. However, before you start using these in Quick Play or Competitive, we highly advise you to use them in the Practice Range and then employ them with an actual team.

1) Regular Ledge Pull

This is the easiest method, involving jumping, pulling in, and jumping again. Find a ledge, any ledge, overlooking a deadly drop. The key is to bait or force your opponent near that edge. Once they are close, utilize Spider-Man’s “Get Over Here!” ability (typically bound to the “E” key on PC, or a corresponding button on a console). The crucial element here is to aim precisely. You want to snag them with the web-line, and then, while they are being pulled, you must move backward to create the correct angle to pull them off the map.

It’s crucial for learning the timing of the double jump to ensure you get back to the map safely. This requires you to have good spatial awareness, and to be able to quickly judge distances. Also, the timing of the “Get Over Here!” ability is very important. You want to use it when the enemy is close enough to the edge that they will not have enough time to recover.

This method is most effective against heroes with limited mobility, such as heavy tanks or characters with slow movement. However, heroes with good mobility can sometimes escape this method. Still, it is a great way to instantly eliminate an enemy player and can be very useful in objective-based game modes.

2) Bunny Hop

This method keeps you moving at a higher speed, making you a harder target. It involves zipping to a point on the ground, canceling the flip animation with a web cluster, and then jumping. First, find a location with a good web-swinging point. Then, begin web-swinging and build up as much speed as possible. Once you’ve gained a lot of speed, you must then locate an enemy player who is close to the edge of the map.

Then, while you are still web-swinging, you must use the “Get Over Here!” ability. If done correctly, the momentum from the web-swing will carry the enemy player far off the map. This is a high-risk, high-reward technique. It requires precise timing and aiming, but the payoff can be spectacular. This is very effective for catching enemies off guard and is most effective on maps with large open areas, and many web swinging points

3) Uppercut

This allows you to carry enemies further than the Bunny Hop. It requires being on higher ground and using a web swing to cancel the delay after the uppercut. Begin by using Spider-Man’s web-zip ability to quickly close the distance between you and your target. Then, immediately follow up with his uppercut attack (Amazing Combo). This will launch the enemy into the air.

While the enemy is airborne, quickly use “Get Over Here!” to snag them. The vertical momentum, combined with the pull, will often send them flying off the map. This method is especially effective against enemies who are grouped together, as the uppercut can hit multiple targets, and is also very effective for catching enemies off guard. It is highly suitable for areas with high ledges.

4) Flat Surface Uppercut

This method works only on a keyboard and mouse. It involves binding jump to scroll wheel up and uppercut or Amazing Combo to scroll wheel click. You zip to the ground, click in the scroll wheel, and scroll up simultaneously. You must first locate an enemy player who is close to a ledge. Then, you must use Spider-Man’s web swinging and air dash abilities to get into an elevated position above the enemy player.

Then, while you are mid-air, you must use the “Get Over Here!” ability to snag the enemy player. If done correctly, you will pull the enemy player off the map. This method is highly effective against enemies who are trying to escape or who are trying to take high ground. It works effectively on maps with many high ledges and platforms.

5) Bunny Hopping into Uppercut

This advanced method combines the bunny hop and uppercut with an animation cancel. It’s effective from any surface and provides a massive amount of distance and involves a floating bounce followed by an uppercut and a web pull-in animation cancel.

Marvel Rivals maps are filled with environmental hazards, like moving platforms or areas with instant-death zones. Spider-Man can use these to his advantage. You must first locate an environmental hazard that is close to an enemy player. Then, the player must use the “Get Over Here!” ability to pull the enemy player into the environmental hazard.

This method requires a good understanding of the map and the locations of the environmental hazards, as it can be used for quickly eliminating enemy players. It is highly effective on maps with many environmental hazards.
