Marvel Rivals has been thrilling players with its lightning-fast superhero action since its explosive release. However, a swarm of bizarre bugs and glitches continue to ruin the experience, hiding behind the spectacular team-ups and destructible settings.

There has been a recent uptick in player complaints regarding issues that unfairly alter the battlefield, such as exploits that break the game or even the skill-based matchmaking systems. A number of players have voiced their frustrations about reports of certain characters, such as Wolverine and Hulk destroying enemies with unexpected combo exploits or Doctor Strange using terrain manipulation for cheap kills.

Adding fuel to the fire, broken hitboxes are emerging as a major sore spot, with Spider-Man’s uppercut ability swinging into the spotlight. The move’s ridiculously generous range, which delivers strikes from distances no web-slinger should be able to reach, has players taking to social media and forums pleading NetEase to fix it.

Marvel Rivals fans call on NetEase to fix Spider-Man’s insane hitbox range

Marvel Rivals players such as SR-3MP have taken to social media to point out some obvious issues they faced while training with Spider-Man in the game’s Practice Range. They said, “Am I wrong for thinking Spider-Man’s Amazing Combo hitbox needs to be fixed?” During their practice, the player used the ability that launches an enemy upward by punching an uppercut from the right hand.

However, the player used the ability, way off the center hitbox of the enemy hologram by aiming around 5 meters to the left of the enemy and still the ability hitbox dealt damage to the enemy. This broken ability hitbox captured the attention of the entire community who related with this by getting punched by Spider-Man enemies in their matches.

One such player wrote, “I had this the other day and thought I was going crazy. I was thinking, how did he get me? I didn’t even see him. And then I watched the killcam and I was on his screen when he swung in and then he just flailed in a corner and I died.”

Besides Spider-Man, other players are also complaining about Wolverine’s hitbox and claiming his Feral Leap ability suffers the same issue. They said, “Another weird one is the hitbox on Logan’s leap. It’s shaped like a turtle shell that curves over his back and extends out past his arms. The spots where it’s not active are directly below his chest and between his claws.”

While players are identifying the latest bugs that are rising with the latest Season 1.5 update, check out another major problem they have with the game’s roster balance.
