For those looking to acquire this elite Diamond 99 overall Mickey Mantle, there were two ways you were able to do so in MLB The Show 23 – now there’s only one. The first and main option, which is no longer available, was by purchasing the ’50 Show Pack’ bundle from the Pack Market which had the Chase Pack 3 inside.
The Chase 3 Pack, which guaranteed fans one Diamond player, also granted those who purchased it the slim chance of securing this legendary “The Commerce Comet” Mantle player item. Not only did the bundle cost 75,000 stubs to begin with, but there was also no guarantee that you would have been be able to draw this Mantle card from the Chase 3 Pack you received.
That being said, since the Chase Pack 3 is no longer available in the Pack Market, this Mickey Mantle Diamond can now only be located in the Community Marketplace. And unfortunately, his price tag is by no means cheap, currently consisting of over 350,000 stubs. It comes to no surprise that MLB The Show 23 didn’t make it easy to get this Mantle card seeing how good it truly is.
