Each Fortnite season, players are excited about the cosmetics that they’ll be able to purchase either from the Item Shop or claim from the Battle Pass. This time around in Chapter 6 Season 1, players saw the arrival of Japanese demons and Ronins in the Battle Pass, which also consists of iconic characters like Baymax from Big Hero 6 and Godzilla.
While you can now claim Baymax from the pass by purchasing it and leveling up, Godzilla will be available at a later date. However, if you want a more economical cosmetic option than purchasing V-Bucks or a Battle Pass, buying a Starter Pack at the beginning of each season is a great way to begin your Fortnite journey.
The latest Chapter 6 Season 1 has brought the Darkest Grumblings pack as the Starter Pack this season, with a unique spin on a classic skin and multiple rewards, including V-Bucks!
Here’s how you can get the starter pack easily.
How to get Darkest Grumblings starter pack in Fortnite
The new Fortnite Starter Pack, Darkest Grumblings features a Dark Doggo skin, with red eyes and comes with two additional cosmetics. The starter pack costs $4.49, half the price of 1,000 V-Bucks and requires you to spend real money to buy, like any other bundle.
Here’s the official synopsis of the pack: “This “good boy” has a darker side and he is willing to share. Get ready to play fetch with the Darkest Grumblings Pack.”
This starter pack includes the following items:
- 600 V-Bucks
- Dark Doggo Outfit (with LEGO Style)
- Bone Brief Back Bling
- The Up-Chucker Pickaxe
You cannot gift the pack to your friend, and instead, you’d be redirected to your platform store when you press the Purchase button in-game.
You can purchase the pack right at the bottom of the in-game Item Shop, Epic Games Launcher, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or any other platform Fortnite is available.
Furthermore, V-Bucks included with this purchase can’t be transferred to or used on Nintendo Switch according to Epic, so players on Switch may have to opt for an alternative on their store to buy this pack, or log in to Fortnite from any other platform and spend their currency.
