The much-anticipated Halloween update has arrived in Fortnite and the 2024 edition of Fortnitemares brings a plethora of fresh content to Battle Royale, Rocket Racing, LEGO, and Festival modes. However, when it comes to the core BR mode, Epic has drawn all their best cards and brought some new weapons and POIs for players to sink in the spooky season.
There’s now a Chainsaw, a Pumpkin Launcher, and a Witch Broom, all that you can find in Fortnite to have an upper hand over your enemies in a match. One item that’s entirely unique from the lot is Boom Billy which is a new throwable and is themed after the latest SAW collaboration.

How to get the new Boom Billy in Fortnitemares 2024
Boom Billy is a rare rarity item in Fortnite and is available as ground loot or can be obtained from loot chests around the Chapter 5 Season 4 map.
However, there’s a high chance you’ll find this weapon at POIs affected by Fortnitemares 2024, which are Freaky Fields, The Underworld, Grim Gate, and Brawler’s Patch.
Boom Billy item stats
Boom Billy throwable explosive deals 75 damage to enemies on impact and players can carry a maximum of 3 units in one inventory slot.
How to use Boom Billy
You can use the Boom Billy item similar to any throwable explosive in Fortnite. Simply aim it towards your enemy and a mini version of Billy will fly towards the opponent.
Once it’s within 70 meters of the opponents’ range, it’ll lock on to the enemy with a laser and fly faster to explode and deal 75 damage to them. However, if your opponent manages to escape it and move out of its range, the explosive will keep circling the area and explode after a while automatically.
