Fortnitemares 2024 brings plenty of new content to the game right from cosmetic skins like Mephisto, Leatherface, and She-Venom to new gameplay. However, what’s received a much-needed overhaul to bring in the Halloween festivities is the weapons loot pool.
While the update unvaults a bunch of weapons from past seasons like the Wood Stake Shotgun and Pumpkin Launchers, players are also treated to a much-anticipated weapon to slash their enemies with, bringing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre collab with Leatherface into full effect.

How to get the new Chainsaw in Fortnitemares 2024
Chainsaw is an epic rarity item in Fortnite and is available as ground loot or can be obtained from loot chests around the Chapter 5 Season 4 map.
However, there’s a high chance you’ll find this weapon at POIs affected by Fortnitemares 2024, which is Freaky Fields, The Underworld, Grim Gate, and Brawler’s Battleground.

- First, Second and Final attacks (combo): 75 damage each
- Jump Attack: 85 damage
- Chainsaw Rush Attack: 85 damage
- Sprint Attack: 85 damage
How to use a Chainsaw in Fortnite
Chainsaw has three attacks in Fortnite − one is its primary attack which slashes through enemies as you sprint with heavy swings, the second one lets you damage them with a jump attack and the other helps you dig the weapon in the ground and move across the island while damaging enemies on the move.
Press the fire button while sprinting to use the primary heavy Slash attack to damage enemies, the jump and fire button to use the Jump Attack, and use your aim button to rev the Chainsaw to the ground and propel yourself forward at insane speeds to damage enemies using the Chainsaw Rush Attack.
