Space Marine 2 is a traditional co-op action shooter where players partake in a cooperative campaign, PvE missions, and traditional PvP multiplayer. It boasts impressive replayability, with a host of challenges along with class and weapon leveling. You can get a lot of hours out of Space Marine 2, though your mileage with vary depending on how much you engage with the non-campaign modes.

How long to beat Space Marine 2

To beat Space Marine 2, you’ll need to set aside roughly 12 hours to beat the story Campaign on the normal difficulty setting. Dial it down to easy and you can shrink the playtime to under 10 hours. Conversely, bump it up and you can easily sneak past the 15 hour mark. Additionally, there are lore-themed collectibles called Dataslates in each mission, which will likely require repeat level playthroughs to collect them all, adding to the overall playtime.

Aside from the Campaign, Space Marine 2 has an optional PvE mode called Operations. It’s arranged in missions, which take roughly 45-60 minutes to complete, again depending on the difficulty settings and which of the six missions you take on. Playing through them once adds roughly 6-8 to your total playtime. They are, however, designed to be replayable, mainly because they allow you to earn XP to level weapons and classes but also cosmetics to customise your Ultramarine.
