Hogwarts Legacy features no less than 46 trophies and achievements to unlock on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Getting them all will have you traveling to all four corners of the wizarding world, fighting beasts and goblins, solving puzzles, and plenty more in between. To help you on your way to that coveted 100% completion and platinum trophy, we’ve pieced together this Hogwarts Legacy trophy guide.

Note that it’s currently a work in progress as we make our way through the game. We’ll be keeping it up to date as we tick off more trophies.

The Sort Who Makes an Entrance

Description – Complete the introduction and finish the Sorting Ceremony

Unmissable trophy awarded for completing the sorting ceremony and choosing a house.

First Class Student

Description – Attend your first class.

Hogwarts Legacy Trophy Guide

Unmissable trophy awarded for completing the Charms Class main quest.

Troll with the Punches

Description – Survive the troll attack in Hogsmeade.

Hogwarts Legacy Trophy Guide

Unmissable trophy awarded for defeating the troll during the Welcome to Hogsmeade main quest mission.

A Keen Sense of Spell

Description – Invoke Ancient magic for the first time

Unmissable trophy unlocked during the Secrets of the Restricted Section main quest. Use Ancient Magic on the guards protecting the Antechamber when prompted (L1+R1 on PlayStation 5).

The Gryffindor in the Graveyard

Description – Find the Map Chamber as a Griffindor

Choose the Gryffindor house during the sorting ceremony, then progress through the game and complete the Jackdaw’s Rest quest.

The Toast of the Town

Description – Find the Map Chamber as a Slytherin.

Choose the Slytherin house during the sorting ceremony, then progress through the game and complete the Jackdaw’s Rest quest.

The Auror’s Apprentice

Description – Find the Map Chamber as a Hufflepuff.

Choose the Hufflepuff house during the sorting ceremony, then progress through the game and complete the Jackdaw’s Rest quest.

The Wise Owl

Description – Find the Map Chamber as a Ravenclaw.

Choose the Ravenclaw house during the sorting ceremony, then progress through the game and complete the Jackdaw’s Rest quest.

A Talent for Spending

Description – Spend 5 talent points.

Spend 5 talent points on the talents of your choice.

Followed the Butterflies

Description – Follow butterflies to a treasure

Unlocked during the Follow the Butterflies side quest. Visit Miss Willardsey at The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade to start the quest. Travel to the Forbidden Forest and follow the butterflies through the woods to a chest.

That’s a Keeper

Description – Meet Charles Rookwood in the Map Chamber.

Unmissable story trophy. Progress through the Percival Rackham’s Trial main quest. When you return to the Map Chamber, talk to the painting of Charles Rookwood.

Coasting Along

Description – Visit Poidsear Coast

Travel to the southernmost portion of the Hogwarts Legacy map.

Loom for Improvement

Description – Upgrade a piece of gear.

Unmissable story trophy. Upgrade a piece of gear of your choice using the Loom during The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom main story quest.

Challenge Accepted

Description – Complete all tiers of a challenge.

What challenge you choose is up to you. Among the easiest to tick off are the Merlin Trials challenges, for example, as these are marked on the map so there’s no lengthy exploration or collectible hunting involved.
