Helldivers 2 is still available to pre-order, with bonuses and editions, on Steam for $39.99, with the release date set to be February 8. Worth mentioning, minimum requirements do not promise amazing gameplay, they are simply the bare essentials in order to be able to load the game. Pretty humble hardware given the prowess of the game, but you’re likely to be targeting 1080p and 30fps here. For a CPU you’ll need an Intel Core i7-4790K or an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X to be able to run the game. If you don’t currently meet these system requirements, you’ll need to consider upgrading your rig before Thursday.

Recommended system requirements are meant to optimize the graphics quality and processing speed to ensure a decent gaming experience while running Helldivers 2. Much like the minimum requirements, some factors are non-negotiable; you’ll still need Windows 10 or later, a 64-bit processor and an available storage of 100GB. It is recommended that you have at least 16GB of RAM vs the necessary 8GB mentioned in the minimum requirements. For maxed out settings ahead of Helldivers release, here’s a voice of our recommendations. You’ll want the required 100GB of available storage and the recommended 16GB of VRAM, but we also suggest making sure your OS is updated to the latest version available. Running on Windows 11 rather than Windows 10 will ensure that your PC isn’t losing performance quality due to needing an OS update.
