Luckily, there are a few areas where you can get rid of your cars around Los Santos. Here is how to sell vehicles in GTA Online.
Selling a vehicle in GTA Online
To sell a vehicle in GTA Online, get into the vehicle you want to sell and drive it to an auto shop. This can be Los Santos Customs, your personal auto shop, or the arena workshop. Once there, select the sell vehicle option from the customization menu. Special vehicles such as the Oppressor Mk II can be sold by going to your Terrorbyte or other hub vehicle.

If you want to sell vehicles in GTA Online, you need to go to an auto shop like Los Santos Customs. If you find a car on the street you want to sell, steal it and bring it to a Los Santos Custom’s garage. These can be found in La Mesa, Los Santos International Airport, Burton, and the Grand Senora Desert.

You can sell any car that you grab off the streets including ones that you hijack from NPCs. The only vehicles you cannot sell are high-end vehicles and sports cars as these are too hot and draw too much attention. You can sell any car from your personal collection no matter how pricey it may be.
Once you reach an auto shop, scroll down through the customization options until you find the sell tab. Select this option and then confirm that you wish to sell the car.
If you want to sell high-end cars, you will need to start an import/export business. Once you do this, you can start boosting high-end vehicles and selling them. These often require you to get vehicles from rich neighbourhoods. We recommend selling vehicles when playing solo so you don’t run the risk of other players destroying them.
How to sell special vehicles in GTA Online
If you want to sell special vehicles, you need to sell them at specific locations. For instance, the Oppressor Mk II is kept inside the Terrorbyte. Because of this, you can only sell the Oppressor Mk II while it is inside the Terrorbyte and you are editing it.
Other vehicles that are kept in special locations must be returned to the location where you edit them in order to sell them. Another example of this is Arena War Vehicles. They can only be sold in the Arena War Auto Shop.
What locations can you sell vehicles in GTA Online?
You can sell vehicles at Los Santos Customs, Benny’s Original Motorworks, the Arena Workshop, or your personal auto shop property. If you don’t have the properties purchased, you can make do by going to the already-established auto shops in the city.
Keep in mind that there are some exceptions to this. For instance, Arena War vehicles can only be sold at the Arena Workshop. You can sell any car of yours at your Auto Shop. Other vehicles like the Oppressor Mk II. can only be sold in the area where you store it. Generally, any car that is purchased from Legendary Motorsport or Southern San Andreas Super Autos can be sold at Los Santos Customs or any other auto shop. It is also important to note that if you win the casino car, you cannot sell it for additional cash.
