Want to know the Chevreuse best builds in Genshin Impact? We’ve done the research and put together a comprehensive guide for this Pyro hybrid support unit.

Chevreuse is a four-star Pyro character who specialises in buffing Electro and Pyro characters, generating a passive resistance shred even while off-field. On top of this, Chevreuse’s Skill heals your active character. As such, the best builds for Chevreuse focus on increasing her healing and overall support with a focus on HP.

Elsewhere in Genshin, make sure you read our best builds for Ayaka the best builds for Bennett, and our best Raiden Shogun builds guide. Now, on to the best builds for Chevreuse in Genshin Impact.

Chevreuse is Pyro Polearm user who fits specifically into Pyro and Electro teams, providing a buff if it consists of only these two elements. This build focuses on the Pyro-Electro Reaction, Overload, letting your team do more damage to enemies with the right setup. When it comes to Chevreuse best builds, you have two main builds to choose from:

  • Chevreuse Overload Support
  • Chevreuse Hybrid Pryo Sub-DPS

Both of these builds are viable, but we recommend an Overload support build for Chevreuse. This build focuses on stacking as much HP as possible on Chevreuse to make the most of her buff. Your HP goal for this should be over 40k HP, which should be easy enough with the Black Tassel weapon.

If you build Chevreuse as a hybrid sub-DPS, you only need to change her Artifact set and decide on how much HP you want Vs. Chevreuse’s ATK stat. If you have enough HP from your Artifacts, you can switch out the weapon to another of your choice.

Chevreuse best Artifact set

The best Artifact set for Chevreuse is either the four-piece Noblesse Oblige or Songs of Days Past. The way to decide on this set is if you already have a party member running Noblesse. If they are then give Chevreuse the Songs of Days Past Artifact set.

If you want Chevreuse to do more damage, you should focus on building her with the four-piece Crimson Witch of Flames set, but we don’t recommend this as her personal DMG isn’t what she’s made for. We’ve put together this table to lay out the best Artifacts for Chevreuse.

Best Artifact Set for ChevreuseSet BonusReason
Songs of Days Past x4Two-piece: Healing Bonus +15%

Four-piece: When the equipping character heals a party member, the Yearning effect will be created for 6s, which records the total amount of healing provided (including overflow healing). When the duration expires, the Yearning effect will be transformed into the Waves of Days Past effect: When your active party member hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, the DMG dealt will be increased by 8% of the total healing amount recorded by the Yearning effect. The Waves of Days Past effect is removed after it has taken effect 5 times or after 10s. A single instance of the Yearning effect can record up to 15,000 healing, and only a single instance can exist at once, but it can record the healing from multiple equipping characters. Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect.
Songs of Days Past is a set that works extremely well with Chevreuse. To this end, it might be her best-in-slot due to how it synergises with her hybrid DPS and support build.
Noblesse Oblige x4Two-piece: Elemental Burst DMG +20%.

Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.
Noblesse is the default set for most support characters. The party-wide buff it provides is helpful for your team, but it doesn’t stack. You will probably have another character with this set, so only give it to Chevreuse if you don’t have someone with it.

For Chevreuse’s Artifact stats, she will need HP, Energy Recharge, and Healing Bonus. We use Chevreuse with the Black Tassel for the HP, so we have given Chevreuse an Energy Recharge Sands. Then she needs an HP Goblet and a Healing Bonus Circlet. Use this table to figure out Chevreuse best builds and Artfiact statsL

Healing Bonus over HP% Circlet

We always recommend getting the Healing Bonus Circlet for characters who heal and scale off HP. This is because you can get HP% as a substat on Healing Bonus Circlets, but not the other way around. This gives you the best of both worlds and then some.

Chevreuse best weapons

The best weapon for Chevreuse is the Black Tassel polearm. For a support-based build, this weapon provides the most HP, but if you have more than 40k HP without Black Tassel, the next best weapon for Chevreuse is the craftable Rightful Reward polearm.

HP is the most valuable stat for Chevreuse, along with Energy Recharge. Make sure you’re filling in any gaps in your builds by looking at your weapon and Artifact substats. Check out the table we’ve put together for Chevreuse best weapons below:

WeaponMain StatPassive EffectOur Reason
Black Tassel (4*)HP%Increases DMG against slimes by 40%.The passive effect is, sadly, garbage. However, at max level Black Tassel provides over 40% HP increase, making it fantastic for HP-scaling characters. More HP means more buffs from Chevreuse.
Rightful Reward (4*)HP%While not as potent of an HP increase, the passive effect helps Chevreuse get her Burst faster thanks to the energy it provides. This weapon is also craftable for free. Only give this to Chevreuse if you have over 40k HP without Black Tassell.
Favonius Lance (4*)Energy RechargeCRIT hits have a 60% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12s.The Favonius Lance should be used if you have no other alternative. This weapon will help with ER issues and generate more particles, letting Chevreuse and other characters get their Burst easier and faster.

Chevreuse Talent priority

Chevreuse’s Talents increase her Normal and Charged attacks, her Skill, and her Burst. You should focus on her Skill and Burst first since levelling her Skill will improve her damage and healing in one go. Next, you should focus on her Burst, and you can safely ignore levelling her Normal Attack Talent. Level her talents in the following order:

  1. Elemental Skill
  2. Elemental Burst
  3. Normal Attack – can be ignored.

Chevreuse Constellations

Four-star characters are notoriously difficult to pull for specifically, so we don’t recommend just pulling for Chevreuse. With that said, her Constellations help improve her kit and increase her efficacy in Pyro-Electro team comps even further. This is a list of all Chevreuse’s Constellations.

ConstellationEffect
Stable Front Line’s Resolve (C1)When the active character with the “Coordinated Tactics” status (not including Chevreuse herself) triggers the Overloaded reaction, they will recover 6 Energy. This effect can be triggered once every 10s. You must first unlock the Passive Talent “Vanguard’s Coordinated Tactics.”
Sniper Induced Explosion (C2)After Holding Short-Range Rapid Interdiction Fire and hitting a target, 2 chain explosions will be triggered near the location where said target is hit. Each explosion deals Pyro DMG equal to 120% of Chevreuse’s ATK, This effect con be triggered up to once every 10s, and DMG dealt this way is Elemental Skill DMG.
Practiced Field Stripping Technique (C3)Increases the level of Chevreuse’s Skill by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
The Secret to Rapid-Fire Multishots (C4)After using Ring of Bursting Grenades, the Hold mode of Short-Range Rapid Interdiction Fire will not go on cooldown when Chevreuse uses it. This effect is removed after Short-Range Rapid Interdiction Fire has been fired twice using Hold or after 6s.
Enhanced Incendiary Firepower (C5)Increases the level of Chevreuse’s Burst by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
In Pursuit of Ending Evil (C6)After 12s of the healing effect from Short-Range Rapid Interdiction Fire, all nearby party members recover HP equivalent to 10% of Chevreuse’s Max HP once. After a party member is healed by Short-Range Rapid Interdiction Fire, they gain a 20% Pyro DMG Bonus and Electro DMG Bonus for 8s. Max 3 stacks. Each stack’s duration is counted independently.

Pulling specifically for four-star characters can be tough. While they can get Rate Up on Banners, you can’t rule out bad RNG. She is unique and will help your Overload teams.

Are Chevreuse’s Constellations worth it?

Sadly, yes. While not necessary, they do help her perform better in her role.
