Genshin Impact 4.1 – new weapons and how to get them

Genshin Impact 4.1 will add new weapons to the game, featuring two new five-star Calaysts and a smattering of four-star weapons added to the weapon banner. As in the past, Genshin typically adds event-specific weapons for a limited time, which means you will only have the duration of 4.1 to claim the event four-star Catalyst, Ballad of Boundless Blues.

Genshin Impact 4.1 is adding seven new weapons to the game, two of which are the five-star personal weapons of Wriothesley and Neuvillette. Genshin Impact 4.1 new weapons

We know that seven new weapons are coming to Genshin Impact 4.1. Two of these weapons are a five-star rarity and they are Wroithsleyes and Neuvillette’s signature weapons the Tome of the Eternal Flow and the Cashflow Supervision. The other four weapons are of four-star rarity, and one of them will only be attainable from completing the event quest, while the other three will be added to the weapon banner. All of these weapons will be available when Genshin Impact 4.1 releases, according to this blog post from HoYoverse. The weapons being added to the banner, such as the Dockhand’s Assistant, will only be available from wishing on the weapon banner, but this is only the case when it is one of the featured weapons on the banner alongside a five-star weapon.

The four-star Catalyst, Ballad of Boundless Blue is an event-specific weapon. You will only be able to claim this weapon once and only during the corresponding event runtime. This means, for example, you won’t be able to claim this weapon in Genshin Impact 4.2 and all previously released event weapons have never come back to the game. This is the case for weapons like Festering Desire, much to the annoyance of people who missed the sword’s first appearance.
