Turn 10 make their return to the driving seat with this soft reboot of Xbox’s driving simulation series. While Forza Horizon takes a more laissez-faire approach to Forza with its festival setting, traditionally the Motorsport series has been more of a hardcore simulation focused around driving for the sake of driving – particularly, as the name suggests, as a sport. But that’s not to say it can’t be enjoyed by both hardcore car fans and more casual drivers alike, as there’s plenty of assists and settings to tweak. With the Forza Horizon release date almost upon us, many are interested to know if they can download the game ahead of time.

Forza Motorsport (2023) – can I preload the game on Xbox and PC?
Yes. As a first party Xbox game, Forza is in a relatively unique position to be able to be placed on the Xbox ecosystem earlier than most games. As a result, preloads have actually been available since the game went gold on September 18, 2023 on both Xbox Series X|S consoles and the PC via the Microsoft Store.
Forza Motorsport will also be available to preload via Steam. However, preload details for that haven’t been announced yet, but the official Twitter says that more information will be coming closer to launch. We’ll update this page when we hear more.
