Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: All vault locations

Wondering where the Fortnite vaults are in Chapter 5 Season 2? We’ve got you covered. Last season, the main vaults were in the named POIs. They were manned by bosses, like Oscar at Lavish Lair or Peter Griffin at Snooty Steppes. Now, those vaults are still there, but they’re empty. As a result of the storyline, the gods clashed with many of the Society leaders and they are gone. Therefore, those vaults are useless. There are still, however, some weapon vaults you can open. Here’s where to find them.

Fortnite vault locations in Chapter 5 Season 2

There are still four unlockable vaults in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. This time, they have nothing to do with Medallions or Mythics. Those don’t open vaults. Keycards do. You may remember the keycard vaults from last season, and there are some more this time around. In fact, some of them are the same places.

Vault #1

The first vault is found to the northeast of Classy Courts. Head up the mountain there and you will find the vault. It is, like all Fortnite vaults this season, guarded by three Minions. The first one drops the key, but the others will try to eliminate you. This is at the landmark Coastal Comms, northwest of Slumberyard and east of Catcher’s Cove.

Vault #2

There was a vault at Estate Station last year, a landmark just in front of Lavish Lair. If you go back to that spot, there will once again be a vault available to you. This is in between Lavish and Reckless Railways. It’s a main stopping point for the train and is near to The Ol’ Mill.

Vault #3

Another vault is located at the rear of Unmoored Manor. This is an island with just one major house on the south coast of the map. It’s right beside Brawler’s Battleground. Head to the very bottom floor of the back of the house to find the vault and open it.

Vault #4

The fourth vault is another returning vault. It is found near Rebel’s Roost. If you head east from there, you’ll find it as you did last season. It’s northwest of Lavish Lair as well. It’s a small depot with one building and some shipping containers. Down the stairs is the vault.

Zach’s Tips

The vaults in Chapter 5 Season 2 offer you one guaranteed Level 2 chest, which offers either Epic or Legendary loot. They also have a ton of gold bars and two other chests, which can be Level 2 sometimes.

These are the only Fortnite vaults in the game. Please keep in mind that these are only for loot, but they do not carry Mythic weapons. Only the bosses drop those. Furthermore, they do not have weapons mod benches, either. Those are found elsewhere, and you can check out our guide to them here.
