How to unlock Solid Snake in Fortnite Chapter 5

Solid Snake is a bonus skin of the current Fortnite Battle Pass. The Metal Gear character was added in early December, although he wasn’t unlockable. Fortunately, that is no longer the case. Our guide will explain how to unlock Solid Snake, as you cannot obtain him by simply leveling up.

How to get Solid Snake in Fortnite

To unlock Solid Snake in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, you will need to complete a couple of exclusive quests. These quests will be available until the end of the season, so you have more than enough time to complete them. With the current Fortnite season ending in early March, you have more than six weeks to unlock the Metal Gear character.

The gaming legend has two styles, and to unlock his first style, you need to complete these quests:

• Hide in a Cardboard Box for 10 seconds
• Damage opponents within 10 meters
• Deal damage with explosives
• Damage opponents with assault rifles
• Break security cameras or turrets

Once you complete these quests, you will unlock Solid Snake. Furthermore, each quest will grant an additional cosmetic item. For example, once you deal 250 damage to opponents within 10 meters, you will receive the Stun Knife pickaxe.

Use Team Rumble to complete the challenges

If you’d like to complete these challenges as quickly as possible, join a Team Rumble match. You can respawn in this mode, which makes it much easier to complete quests.

To unlock the additional style of Solid Snake, you need to complete the first five quests, as well as these:

• Damage opponents with a weapon that has a suppressor
• Use EMP Stealth Camo
• Use a hiding spot in different matches
• Assist in opening Vaults or hack Train Heist chests
• Damage different enemy players before they damage you

Once you unlock both of these styles, the skin will be permanently added to your Fortnite locker. However, keep in mind that you will not be able to unlock it once the current season ends.
