Shredder is a new Fortnite skin that arrived with the second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration. The franchise antagonist is included in the new event pass, and unlocking him is quite easy. Our guide will explain everything you need to know about Shredder and how you can add him to your Fortnite skin collection.
How much does Shredder cost in Fortnite?
Shredder is an event skin, meaning that you cannot obtain him through the Item Shop. Instead, you will have to purchase the event pass for 1,000 V-Bucks and level it up. Considering that most collaboration skins cost at least 1,500 V-Bucks, this is a fantastic deal. Besides unlocking Shredder, you’ll also unlock many other cosmetics with the pass, including another style for the TMNT villain.
To unlock Shredder, launch Fortnite and go to the TMNT tab in the Main Menu. You will see the entire event pass on this page, including the free cosmetics. You will have to purchase the Premium pass to unlock Shredder, so make sure you have 1,000 V-Bucks in your Fortnite account.
To purchase the pass, you simply need to press the Upgrade button in the bottom right corner of your screen. Once you purchase it, you’ll instantly unlock Shredder, while also gaining access to many other rewards. If you want to unlock the other rewards, however, you will have to complete exclusive quests and earn Ooze and Blueprints.
The event lasts until Tuesday, February 27. If you don’t unlock all the rewards by then, they might be gone forever. However, some of them may return to the Item Shop at some point.
