Choosing the best weapons in LEGO Fortnite is quite easy at this stage of the game. Considering that the game came out in early December 2023, Epic Games hasn’t added a lot more content to it. Due to this, we have a couple of basic weapons you can use right now.

It’s important to note that you can use tools, like Axes and Pickaxes, to deal damage to your enemies. However, if you want to eliminate enemies more effectively, you need to use Swords. If you’re not sure what to use, our guide has the best weapons in LEGO Fortnite.

You will be able to craft the Recurve Crossbow after upgrading your Crafting Bench. This is the first ranged weapon you’ll get in the game and it’s quite effective from long range. The Recurve Crossbow is a great weapon to use to defeat Brute, as it allows you to keep distance from it and attack it from afar.

The Epic (Purple) variant of the crossbow deals 14 damage per shot, but you can only get it by upgrading your Crafting Bench to an Epic rarity.

What makes the Recurve Crossbow one of the best weapons in LEGO Fortnite is its ability to surprise your enemies and get a head start by hitting them a few times from a distance. However, make sure to always craft extra Arrows in case you intend to leave your village and explore the vast world.

The Recurve Crossbow is a must-have in your LEGO Fortnite inventory. However, you won’t be able to use it without arrows. Due to this, you should stock up on Arrows before leaving your village.

While the Recurve Crossbow will give you an edge in long-distance combat, the Longsword should be your go-to weapon for close quarters. This is one of the best LEGO Fortnite weapons, as it deals 9 damage to enemies in its Epic variant. You can also use your Doge ability to avoid enemy attacks and hit them from behind.

Early in the game, you will need to craft a Shortsword from your Crafting Bench. However, once you upgrade the bench to a higher rarity, you’ll be able to craft Longswords that deal massive damage to enemies. Unlike crossbows, they weapons require no ammo, but you need to be careful with their durability.

Dynamite is currently the best weapon in LEGO Fortnite. The explosive weapon is quite common, and you’ll likely find it in chests early in the game. It’s the best weapon not only because it deals 16 damage per hit, but because it is capable of hitting multiple targets at once.

Furthermore, the Dynamite has a fuse you can use to your advantage. If a group of enemies is getting closer to you, you can ignite the fuse, wait for a few seconds, and then throw it at your enemies to take them down immediately. Unlike the other weapons on this list, Dynamite has no durability. However, it has multiple charges, and once you run out of them, the item will disappear from your inventory.
