Fortnite servers are currently down for another big update. This is the final update of the Chapter 2 Remix season and it brings several big changes. However, before you can play it, you will need to update your client. On top of this, you need to wait for the downtime to end before you can access all the new content.

In this article, we take a look at the current Fortnite downtime and how long it will last. Fortunately, Epic Games has provided us with an ETA regarding downtime, and thanks to it, we know when Fortnite servers will be up. The good news is that this downtime won’t be long.

Are Fortnite servers down?

Fortnite servers are currently down in preparation for the v32.11 update. Epic always performs downtime ahead of major updates, and this one is no exception. Most downtimes last for two to three hours, although some of them have lasted for more than 10. This time, servers should be back up quickly, the Fortnite developer revealed.

According to Epic, Fortnite servers are estimated to go back up by 10:30 AM UTC or 5:30 AM Eastern Time, making this one of the shortest downtimes. The company revealed this information on its public status page.

While servers are down, make sure to download the latest Fortnite update. Once you do this, you will be able to play the game as soon as the servers go back up. Furthermore, it’s important to note that new content may not be available right away. This update will also add many new things that will be released later in the season, including live event files.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix ends on November 30, and Chapter 6 will come right after it. Due to this schedule, today’s downtime may be the only one that we get in the current season.
