  • Fortnite servers are currently down.

Epic always performs downtime ahead of major updates, and this one is no exception. The current Fortnite downtime includes a big update that must be downloaded before you can play, and it will last for at least four hours.

The Fortnite developer announced an extended downtime on Monday night. The company expects servers to be back up by 8:00 AM Eastern Time or 12:00 PM UTC. It’s important to note that this is just a rough estimate. Downtime usually lasts longer, so we expect servers to be down for approximately four and a half to five hours.
