Devices Needed

To make a Reset Button, we’re going to make use of a recent update to the explosive device, meaning you’ll need to get your hands on one before you start building your button.

To obtain an Explosive Device, follow these simple steps:

• Once you’ve loaded into Fortnite Creative, hit tab. This will open up your creative inventory.
• From here, go to the Devices menu. 
• Next, search for the explosive device.
• You can either place the device directly into the world from your inventory or add one to your quick bar.

Building the Button

Once you’ve configured your Explosive Device, follow these steps to build your reset button:

• Grab a button from the Creative menu (follow the above steps if you’re not sure how to do this)
• Place it wherever you’d like, then head to the customization screen (to do this, look at the device with your phone and hit E)
• Scroll down to the bottom of the settings until you see the ‘when interacted with transmit on’ option.
• Set this to channel 100
• Next, change the reset Delay function to 1 second this should stop any glitching 
• Change the ‘Enable When Receiving From’ to channel 102
• Change the ‘Disable When Receiving From’ to channel 100
• Place the explosive device that you grabbed earlier in the middle of the building you want to reset.
• In the customization screen, change the device’s health to indestructible, player damage to 0, structure damage to 2000, collision during games- off, explode when receiving from- channel 100, reset when receiving from- channel 101, when exploded transmit on- channel 101.
• Grab a speaker device. Change the settings to the following: sound distance- whole island, activate on hit- no, activate when receiving from- channel 101
• Grab a trigger. Change the settings to the following: Delay- 1 second, trigger when receiving from- channel 100, when triggered transmit on- channel 102.
• Make sure that in your overall settings, environment damage is off.

So just like that, your button is complete. When you press the button, you should find that the building is destroyed, and then immediately come back.
