Fortnite has released numerous free rewards over the past few months. With the release of Blitz Royale in June, the game developer has added a free skin, pickaxe, and more items that can be unlocked. The latest update, which arrived on July 29, brought a new back bling, and you can unlock it for free for a limited time.
Blitz Wings is a new Fortnite back bling that is available for two weeks. You can unlock it easily if you’re an active player, and once you do so, it will be permanently added to your locker. The back bling will likely come to the Item Shop at a later date. However, this is your only chance to get it for free, so let’s see how you can do it!
How to get Blitz Wings Fortnite back bling for free
The latest Fortnite update added lots of new content for Blitz Royale. Mega City is back, and Kamehameha can now be found inside Golden Llammas. On top of this, Epic Games added new game modes, including a new six-player playlist, Six Stack.
Most importantly, Fortnite added a new reward, Blitz Wings, that you can unlock for free. To unlock it, you need to either win five Blitz Royale matches or gain five levels. Even if you struggle to win games, you can unlock the free item by simply leveling up in any game mode.
You need to finish either quest by August 12 to unlock the free back bling. This means that the item will also be briefly available in Chapter 6 – Season 4, which comes out on August 7.
