FC 24 Winter Wildcards – All cards from Team 1, 2, and 3, SBCs, and release date

We’ve passed through the holiday season and into the New Year, with plenty of celebrations coming in FUT 24! The FC 24 Winter Wildcards promo returned to Ultimate Team, gifting us with loads of additional presents.

FC 24 Winter Wildcards all cards

The Winter Wildcards teams keep coming in FC 24 Ultimate Team, with the third and final squad of the campaign joining the mix! Lukas Podolski (OVR 86) and Elye Wahi (OVR 86) were the first of the new promo to be released, coming as Milestones rewards at the start of FUT Season 3.

FC 24 Winter Wildcards SBC players

As well as all the above players, EA Sports confirmed a list of players who will feature in Winter Wildcards SBCs. Across nearly two weeks, a huge number of top players will be on offer, including no less than eight Icons.

FC 24 Winter Wildcards release date 

Leakers including @FGZNews and the reliable @Fut_scoreboard revealed that Winter Wildcards would be returning. However, the promo has been bigger than many expected, with three teams released! 

The celebrations started early when the Winter Best Of re-release items came to packs on December 21.

The Winter Wildcards release date in FC 24 Ultimate Team was December 22. Team 1 was released at this point, staying in packs for one week. A Mini-Release came earlier than expected, on December 23.

Team 2 then joined that side, coming on December 25 and staying live for 11 days. The final squad, Team 3, dropped on December 29, with the new cards remaining in packs for one week, until January 5, when all the promo cards will rotate out. A second Mini-Release cam on December 30.

Winter Wildcards start time

The Winter Wildcards start time was 1pm ET / 6pm GMT. EA added the new cards to packs at this usual time, as with most other promos.

Additional Winter Wildcards items were released via Objectives and SBCs throughout the campaign.

FC 24 Winter Wildcards

Although the fans are still screaming out for FUTmas to return, it looks like we will be dealing with Winter Wildcards from now on! The promo has dropped in the previous two editions of the game and returned in FC 24 Ultimate Team. 

As a returning promo, we knew what sort of thing to expect. As usual, the selected players for the side will gain boosted items. 

However, how these boosts work can vary! Players may receive position changes, upgrades to their Weak Foot or Skill Move ability, or a total change of their dominant foot. If a player is swapped into an unusual position, then their stats will be altered to better suit their new role. 

Daily player SBCs are a key part of the celebrations. So, make sure you’ve got a lot of fodder because your club is going to get drained!

Swaps campaigns have been a staple of the Winter Wildcards program. With EA moving away from the classic Swaps model of earning Tokens and trading them in via SBCs, we have seen some huge prizes on offer as Season Rewards! 

We also gained the addition of a Winter ‘Best Of’ re-release squad. This came to packs last year, so it wasn’t a big surprise, but still a nice addition! It features some of the top players from special squads previously released, including from the Radioactive and Thunderstruck promos.

EA also had something a bit special for us with Winter Wildcards in FC 24. Icons were included! That means we have seen some funky, out-of-position Icons as we did during the Shapeshifters event in FIFA 23. 

To really keep us occupied over the holiday period, loads of Evolutions have also been included alongside the promo. The following EVOs have been released during Winter Wildcards:
