We have teamed up with EasySBC to bring you the best Ultimate Team squads, decided by AI. A Meta Rating has been created to show how good cards perform in-game, from a scale of 1 to 99.9. This is determined by looking at key stats for positions and the player role, to bring you the top candidates. Preferred chemistry styles are also suggested.

Squad Guide

To gain the best meta rating we could within the budget, we needed to use a 3-4-3 formation. Obviously, you can adjust your game plans to switch formation in-game to something that suits your style better. A 3-4-3 is also a very versatile formation that can take many shapes through player instructions.

Manchester City’s Nathan Ake looks to be an early FUT favourite, with decent pace for a CB. Eric Bailly will be the first player worth upgrading from the back line. Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber is the first player we would look at to replace him.

Nuno Tavares is a great early investment. With the ability to play at LB, LWB, and LM, he can fit in the team while you play around with formations. Playing a full-back on the wing gives the side some more defensive stability. He can also drop back to make a back four if needed. With his pace in the middle of the field, Matheus Nunes will also be highly sought-after in the early stages of Ultimate Team. Bobby De Cordova-Reid is the weak link in the midfield but can easily be replaced. It could be worth bringing in another Fulham player, with Kevin Mbabu an option, then switching the formation to a 5-2-2-1.

A couple of the forwards we’ve gone for are very versatile, with Nicolas Pepe and Pedro Neto both able to take over at RM if needed. Of course, pace is the most important attribute to look at, with all three having greater than 80 PAC. Hwang Hee Chan is classed as a Complete Striker, meaning he is quick, can shoot from any angle, beat an opponent one-on-one, and set up his teammates.
