FC 24 Build 12 Chemistry – Objective bug fix

The FC 24 release date is almost here, with players able to gain FC 24 early access to Ultimate Team via the FC 24 Web App! That means eager fans are already jumping on to the game to complete all the objectives they can, in preparation for full access to the game on September 22. However, it hasn’t been the smoothest release, with the Build 12 Chemistry Objective seemingly bugged.

Luckily, we’re here to help! Read on to find out what’s going on with the faulty task and the bug fix for the FC 24 Build 12 Chemistry Objective.

FC 24 Build 12 Chemistry Objective

Before we take a look at how to get past the bug, let’s see what the FC 24 Build 12 Chemistry Objective is all about. The task is one of seven in the Squad Maintenance set, which can be found under the Foundations tab. The requirements are as follows:

Build 12 Chemistry

• Build 12 or more Chemistry Points within your squad

Reward – 1 x Catalyst Chemistry Style

It’s a fairly simple objective to complete, so you shouldn’t have any issues doing so – once the bug is sorted!

Many players have reported that they are unable to complete the objective, with a representative on EA Answers giving this response:

“Hello everyone,

Thank you for raising this issue to us. It looks like the objective isn’t tracking when getting 12 chemistry.

We’ve passed it on to the team for investigation.”

But, is there anything you can do while EA looks for a fix? Yes, but you won’t like the answer!

Champion of Answers Izzy_FUT_Dubs put it simply, by saying: “Unfortunately, it seems this was an objective meant for console.” 

We can also confirm that the objective can be completed on console. So, unless EA fixes the bug quickly, the best thing to do is wait until you have access to FC 24 on console or PC, complete the objective and gain the reward then.

Thankfully, there isn’t much longer to wait. Early Access for those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition or have an EA Play subscription begins on September 22, with the worldwide release coming a week later on September 29.
