1. Go to the EA website and sign in to your account 
2. Select ‘Account Settings’, then ‘Email Preferences’, and tick the box ‘Yes, email me about products, news, events and promotions consistent with EA Privacy and Cookie Policy’ 
3. Check that previous FIFA titles and Ultimate Team are selected as ‘Preferred Games’ and select your ‘Preferred Platforms’, then click ‘Update’ at the bottom of the page 

As well as updating your contact preferences, you need to click the ‘Community Playtesting’ button and follow the instructions to sign up. 

What is the EA Sports FC 24 closed beta?

The EA Sports FC 24 beta gives a lucky few the chance to play an early version of the upcoming game before the EA FC launch. Eligible players will give feedback to developers about any bugs or issues that need fixing before the game is released. Although this isn’t the final version of the game, it will give a clear idea of what to expect from the new title. 

Once again, players selected for the beta have access to Kick-Off, Online Seasons, Online Friendlies, and Learn to Play, and then one of (or a combination of) either Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Clubs (formerly Pro Clubs), or VOLTA. Initially, the testers have been limited to the game mode selected for them, however, in the last week of testing all modes were unlocked. Progress made during the beta will not carry over to the final game, with everything being reset once FC 24 is released.

• Signed up for Community Playtesting on the EA website through their EA account
• Are at least 18 years old 
• Have a console from the UK or North America 
• Use a PS5, PS4, Xbox X|S or Xbox One 
• Played FIFA 23 regularly 
• Have an internet connection 
• Accepted the User and FC 24 Beta Agreement 
• Have an active PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription
