The best location to farm Sunstones is around the Dragonsbreath Tower in southwestern Battahl. You can easily reach this area by traveling to Bakbattahl and heading southwest. Multiple enemies in this area drop the material and it can be found in nodes.

Sunstone can be found in the southwestern part of Battahl. From Bakbattahl, follow the road out of town to the south toward where it connects to the southern part of the Volcanic Island. Around this area, you will be able to find nodes that you can mine for Sunstone.

You can also get this material from the different creatures in the area. Only Serpents, Grim Ogres, and Gorechimeras can drop this mineral. The chance of these dropping is between 8% and 10%.

The best area to farm Sunstone is the pathway leading to Dragonsbreath Tower marked on the map above. This is the area where you can gain the Mystic Spearhand Maister’s approval and defeat the plagued dragon. Along this path, you will find multiple creatures that have a chance to drop this material. You will also find multiple nodes that have a chance to drop Sunstone.

To farm this tower, follow the path to the top. Once there, rest at the base of the tower and then head back down the mountain. There are two areas where you can rest with a convenient Riftstone next to the lower campsite. Take advantage of the campsites and keep moving between them to fight the monsters and collect Sunstone.

After you’ve beaten the game and obtained the true ending, you will be able to come back here to find more mineral nodes. This will make farming this mineral during the endgame a breeze.
