  • Uber Uniques are very rare drops in the game. There are eight items you can earn.
  • Get them from random drops on higher difficulties or by taking on specific bosses. These are the Echo of Duriel, Echo of Andariel, and Uber Lilith.

Rarer than unique items, uber uniques give players the opportunity to alter their builds drastically. These might not necessarily complement your other gear and skills but they’re so potent that they’re worth changing your build to accommodate them. Some boost all your skills while others supercharge your attacks. It’s a rare sight, even among veteran players. They can be paired with seasonal powers like Season 4’s item Tempering too. Here’s how you can keep an eye out for these ultra-rare items.

How to get Uber Unique gear in Season 4

Uber Unique items are the rarest pieces of gear and weapons in Diablo 4 and offer
the best bonuses. Some of them are restricted to one of the game’s five classes: Rogue, Sorcerer, Druid, Barbarian, and Sorcerer. While they are still very rare, Season 4 streamlines the process of acquiring them. Here’s how you can earn Uber Uniques:

  • Random drops from level 55 monsters or above in World Tier 3: Nightmare or 4: Torment difficulty tiers. Focus on clearing Nightmare Dungeons by crafting Nightmare Sigils or Helltides to improve your chances.
  • Defeating Echo of Duriel has a low chance (around 2%) of dropping an Uber Unique at an item power level of 925. You’ll need Shards of Agony from Grigoire the Galvanic Saint and Mucus Slick Eggs from the Echo of Varshan to summon Duriel. Head to the Gaping Crevasse and summon this level 100 boss. The Tormented variant is at level 200 but increases your odds of getting these items.
  • Season 4 brings Duriel’s sister Andariel and The Maiden of Anguish packs some devastating elemental attacks. By mixing Shadow, Fire, Lightning, and Poison hits, she will test all your resistance levels. Defeat Lord Zir and Beast in the Ice to get the summoning materials for her arena at Hanged Man’s Hall, east of Tasarak. Beating her level 200 Tormented Echo for the first time will give you an account-bound Resplendent Spark.
  • If you get an Uber Unique that you don’t like, you can salvage it at a blacksmith for a Resplendent Spark. Four of these can be combined by an Alchemist to create an Uber Unique of your choice. This resource can also be earned by defeating Uber Lilith, a harder variant of Lilith.
