Need to know where you can find the Lifesbane herb in Diablo 4? Sanctuary has plenty of items and resources to find in the overworld, including this special herb.
Tons of herbs are found over Sanctuary, from Gallowvine to Biteberry, and they’re all necessary for the crafting of potions and elixirs. However, if you don’t know where to look, you may get frustrated trying to look for a specific one. Where is Lifesbane located? What can you do with it? We’re here to let you know.
Where to find Lifesbane
There are a few ways to get Lifesbane in Diablo 4, but the most common is to pick it from bushes around Kehjistan. This region is the only spot where Lifesbane grows, so you’re not going to find it in bushes in Dry Steppes, Hawezar, or any other region. Simply find a Lifesbane bush in the overworld, interact with it, and it will be added to your inventory.
However, if you’re far away and don’t feel like traveling to Kehjistan, you can also transmute this herb at the Alchemist. Head to the Alchemist and go to the Refine Resources tab, then scroll down to find Lifesbane. The cost of making one Lifesbane is:
- Five Gallowvine
- 200 Gold
You can also get Lifesbane as a reward for opening chests, completing side quests, and finishing world events and cellars. These are random drops, so you aren’t guaranteed them, though. This also isn’t as easy as just roaming around Kehjistan and picking it up, but it’s a great way to get extra while also farming experience to level up fast.
What can you use Lifesbane for?
Lifesbane is used as an ingredient in the crafting of different potions and elixirs. Common ones include the Greater Healing Potion, Major Healing Potion, the Assault Elixir, and the Elixir of Man-slaying. Specifically, it’s also used in the Reddamine Buzz, which grants all allies that are close a temporary increase to their max health. Bring your herb to the Alchemist, and you can find all the potions, elixirs, and incense to craft there.
The good news about Lifesbane (like many other resources) is that there isn’t a limit to how many you pick up. I’ve found it best to just continually pick it up wherever I find it to always have stock ready to go. There’s always a need for potion upgrades and potent toxins, and because it’s so easy to find, feel free to hoard it.
That’s about all you need to know about the Lifesbane herb in Diablo 4. This native Kehjistani berry is just one of the resources you need in-game, so be sure to check out our guide on how to get Crushed Beast Bones if you’re in need.
