Do you need to get Biteberry in Diablo 4 but don’t know where to find it? This ingredient is used in plenty of recipes for potions and elixirs in the game, but if you don’t know where to look it will be hard to use them.

Biteberries are just one of the many ingredients found in Diablo 4. From where to find Gallowvine to where to get Angelbreath, they’re scattered all over the regions of the Sanctuary. If you need this crafting material but don’t know where to look, we’re here to help. Now that Season 3 is live, read up on the Season of the Construct’s Seneschal companion and the Vaults in Diablo 4.

How to farm Biteberry in Diablo 4

There are three different ways to get Biteberry as you play through the game:

  • In bush patches found in Fractured Peaks.
  • Refining it using 500 gold and 5 Gallowvine at the Alchemist.
  • Rewarded in various herb caches and for completing events. Whisper caches from the Grim Favors of the Tree of Whispers and World Events that randomly occur across Sanctuary are a good bet.

The most common way to find Biteberry is to simply travel around the Fractured Peaks region and pick them up from the Biteberry bushes. You can simply walk up to these bush patches and gather the material. Since Fractured Peaks is the first region you’ll explore, they won’t be hard to find. This is by far the best method to stock up on this herb. If you’re looking to farm, just travel around Fractured Peaks and continue to pick it up from bushes.

However, as you travel outward and adventure more in the open world, you can visit the Alchemist NPC to refine resources to get them. This isn’t quite the same as being able to buy Biteberry, but it only costs some gold and Gallowvine. You can also be rewarded the berries by completing World Events and opening reward chests. They are also sometimes rewarded for completing certain side quests in the early game, too.

How to use Biteberry in Diablo 4

Once you have this bitter berry, you can use it for the crafting of potions, elixirs, and incense at the Alchemist. They’re best for early-game recipes. You can use them for tons of healing potions and their upgrades, like the Minor Healing Potion, Light Healing Potion, and Major Healing Potion. They are also used in the Weak Iron Barb Elixir and Weak Elixir of Cold Resistance. Other herbs to look out for are Blightshade, Howler Moss, Lifesbane, Reddamine, and Angelbreath. While monster parts need you to slay demons and other beasts of Sanctuary’s wildlife, these can simply be gathered at certain spots. Here’s a list of consumables that use Biteberry in Diablo 4:

  • Spiral Morning
  • Blessed Guide
  • Storm of the Wilds

Use elixirs for an experience boost

While the boost might not seem like much, it’ll improve the value of your dungeon grinds in Diablo 4.

Luckily, the Biteberry isn’t too hard to find. But the best potions can require up to 10 Biteberries each. So, be sure to stock up on this herb known for its use as both an enduring raisin and for its defensive qualities. Make sure you have other materials like Coiling Wards to be ready for any crafting the game can throw at you. Diablo 4’s third Season is live on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PlayStation 5 (PS5).
