How to get Curtis’ Safe Key in Dead Island 2

To get the Dead Island 2 Curtis Safe Key in Dead Island 2, you’ll need to defeat Crystal the Lawyer in the annex building in the back garden of Curtis’ mansion. Crystal won’t spawn until you’ve completed the Plumbing the Depths main story quest, which is in the second half of the game. Crystal is typically inside the smaller outhouse building to the southwest of Curtis’ back garden, not far from where you first met him shooting zombies from his balcony.

Crystal the Lawyer is an Apex variant screamer so will put up a fight before falling. Avoid her screams by using a ranged weapon, ideally a gun like an auto carbine or hunting rifle. Kill Crystal then loot her body to get the Dead Island 2 Curtis’ Safe Key.

Dead Island 2 Curtis’ Safe location

Curtis’ Safe is found in a small closet in Curtis’ mansion on Alpine Drive in Bel Air. Enter the back garden via the path that runs from the driveway. Take the first right into the mansion. Curtis’ Safe is through the second doorway on your left. Looting the safe rewards you with a high-tier weapon.
