Want to know how to jump throw bind in CS2? Each map in Valve’s FPS sequel is filled with various smokes that your team can use to limit visibility as you navigate the map. Though most can be executed by simply standing still and placing your crosshair at a specific point, some can only be attempted by jumping and throwing the smoke grenade simultaneously. This is usually where a jump throw bind comes in handy.

Unfortunately, the newly designed CS2 now includes many new features that render the previous jump throw bind nearly obsolete. Luckily, we’re here to show you what you need to do so you can use this classic key bind again. If you need help improving your FPS, though, we suggest checking out our recommendations for the best resolution in CS2 and the best refresh rate for CS2.

How do you jump throw bind in CS2?

To jump throw bind in CS2, you’ll need to follow these steps:

  1. Open the in-game console by pressing the “~” key.
  2. Type in the following commands:
    • alias “+jumpaction” “+jump;”
    • alias “+throwaction” “-attack; -attack2”
    • alias “-jumpaction” “-jump”
    • bind v “+jumpaction;+throwaction;”
  3. Next, enter the following commands:
    • alias “+runthrow” “+forward;+jump;”
    • alias “-runthrow” “-jump;-forward”
    • bind h “+runthrow;+throwaction”

Once you’ve entered these commands into the in-game console, you should then be able to use your V and H keys to execute jump throws and run-jump throws respectively. These commands were shared by Redditors u/lanan94 and u/nartouthere, meaning these have likely been tested out ahead of time.
