Going by the sketch, the treasure is hidden away at the base of a tower perched on a rock formation. In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find the My Loyal Shield treasure map location in Avowed.
Where to find the My Loyal Shield treasure map location
To find the My Loyal Shield treasure, you’ll need to make your way over to the Twinedwood North Beacon, just southeast of the Outcast Tower Camp in the southern part of Galawain’s Tusks. Once there, head southwest and you’ll spot a rock formation with a tower on top. Head south past the tower and look right (or west) and you’ll spot a path cutting through the rocks. If you bring up the map sketch it should match the scenery in front of you at this point.
Take the path and follow it round to the right up a set of ledges until you reach a domed building lit in blue light. At the center of the building is a desk, behind which you’ll find a switch you can press. Do so to unlock a hidden door to the left of the desk. Head through the door and drop down to the level below to find a room. There’s a golden chest to the right of the stairs below an ornate rock carving.

Inside the chest you’ll find the Time’s Tarnish, a unique off-hand Legendary quality shield. Loot it to complete the My Loyal Shield treasure map. The shield boasts 91 block efficiency, 20 stability, 380 parry efficiency, and 50 elemental resistance. Alongside, it has the Timeless Aegis perk, which gives you a 20% chance to refill 20 stamina every time you block, and Dull the Edge, Blunt the Point, which confers a 10% chance to avoid melee damage.
To exit the room, hop onto the ledge to the right of the chest, then pull the level on the left to open a door leading outside.
