Drop from the cliff to the east of the entrance to Thirdborn in Shatterscarp, and you’ll come across a small camp and an NPC by the name of Loato. Look on the blanket on the floor and you’ll find the Seafarer’s Boots treasure map. A pair of boots used to make a long journey are up for grabs, but you’ll need to track them down first.

All you have to go on is a sketch of a pond with red water sided by rock formations and prickly trees. Given Shatterscarp’s size, that could be anywhere. In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find the Seafarer’s Boots treasure map location in Avowed.
Where to find the Seafarer’s Boots treasure map location
To find the Seafarer’s Boots treasure map location, you’ll need to travel to the Deadfall Highlands in the northwest of Shatterscarp, and more specifically, the Deadfall Highlands Party Camp. From there, head northwest towards the pond marked on the map above. You’ll know you are in the right place when you spot red water roamed by a group of spiders.

On the eastern portion of the pond an arm juts out east leading underneath an rock bridge. The water runs through it. Follow the water underneath the rock bridge into a cave full of cobwebs and mushrooms and look left for a little alcove. Inside, you’ll find a skeleton clad in armor. Loot it to get the Wavebinder Boots, x20 Golden Scelling, Primal Water, and a Common Sword.
Picking up the Wavebinder Boots will complete the Seafarer’s Boots treasure map. They are a pair of unique quality boots that grant +15 maximum essence along with the Sure Footing perk, which lets your envoy experience smaller hit reactions. This makes them a solid pick for magic-focused builds thanks to the essence buff.
