Venture into the cave at the back of the Writhing Ruins in the southwest of Galawain’s Tusks, and you’ll stumble across a massive skull. More interesting though, is the skeleton at the back of the main chamber, which you can loot to get the Ancient Arrowhead treasure map. Be careful though because the cave is home to a beetle’s nest and picking up the map awakens the Mater Mare bounty boss.

The map includes a sketch apparently drawn by a youth who had been venturing a little too far from home. It appears to show Solace Keep in the background along with an X to mark the spot of the treasure. Where to find the Ancient Arrowhead treasure map location
To find the Ancient Arrowhead treasure map location, you’ll need to travel to the cliffs near Warden’s Rest just south of the Salt Flat Farms in the southeast of the Galawain’s Tusks region. When you reach the cluster of houses that make up Warden’s Rest head northeast until you hit the cliff’s edge overlooking the sea. From there, follow the cliff’s edge south onto a rocky ledge.
If you turn around at this point, you’ll see that the landscape, with Solace Keep off in the distance, matches up with the sketch on the treasure map. The chest is a little ways south along the ledge. You’ll need three lockpicks to open it. Inside, you’ll find the Scout’s Reach trinket, x1 Opal, x1 Living Iron Chunk, x1 Balarok Skin, and x2 Cave Coral.

The Scout’s Reach is what you’re after and looting it will complete the Ancient Arrowhead treasure map. It’s a Superb quality trinket you can equip to gain +3 Perception, useful if you’re running a magic caster, wizard, or ranger build.
