Best skills to unlock in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

We’ve highlighted the best skills from each category to make the most of your skill points in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. These range from offensive and defensive buffs to improvements to crafting and ikran riding. Here’s how to fly in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora if you’re wondering how to access this majestic beast. Before we expand on each skill category, we’ve got a handy list of the best skills in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora:

  • Vigor and Vitality: These Survivor skills boost your stamina and health respectively. While the latter can be done by Bellsprig plants too, these two skills are essential to sustain injuries during combat. All your sprints and movement costs stamina. Improving this stat lets you save up your food and its perks for important situations.
  • Well Prepared: I’m surprised this is an optional skill. This Warrior skill opens up a fourth weapon slot in your weapon wheel. Considering the sheer variety of weapons in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, it’s good to have another weapon that’s easily accessible.
  • Light-Footed Hunter 2: As a stealth-focused player, this was one of the first upgrades I worked towards. Eliminating noise from movement is a massive boon while raiding RDA outposts. You can complete them without raising an alarm this way.
  • Expert Ammunition Crafter: Maker skills might not look impressive at first. But boosting the ammo you create from crafting lets you use resources more efficiently. And considering that some of these items are pretty rare, it’s a great way to be combat-ready without much prep.
  • Flying Takedown: Your ikran is pretty susceptible to aerial assaults at first. Unlock this skill and watch the odds shift in your favor. Being able to knock out RDA aircraft with a dedicated move is a powerful buff. Aiming your weapons isn’t simple when you’re airborne, making this a great way to deal with enemy forces across the skies.

All skill categories explained in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Here are the skill categories in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora:

  • Memories of the Survivor: These skills are geared towards durability and stamina boosts. You also get options to carry more items so that you are better prepared for Pandora’s wildlife and the RDA.
  • Memories of the Warrior: This tree is offensive-focused. Boost damage dealing, weapon handling, and new ways to knock out enemy forces.
  • Memories of the Hunter: In addition to tackling predators, the Hunter skills help with spotting unique crafting materials and carrying more ammo for firefights.
  • Memories of the Maker: Cooking is a big part of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora thanks to its cooking system. You can use this tree to bolster your cooking and crafting skills.
  • Memories of the Rider: Unlocked after your first ikran flight, the Rider tree has unique abilities for your flying mount. I’m personally a big fan of being able to restore stamina by eating fish as you fly right above water bodies.
