If you’re partial to a stroll through a nucleardisaster quarantine zone back-dropped by the bucolic delights of the 1960s British countryside, then Atomfall can’t come soon enough. Think We Happy Few meets Fallout, or maybe that’s a little reductive, but you get the gist. If you’re already planning to jump in, there’s a good chance you’re weighing up your options, including whether you’ll be able to make the most of that Game Pass subscription you keep forgetting to cancel.

The short answer is yes, Atomfall is set to launch on Game Pass day one. In this guide, we’ll walk you through all the details surrounding Atomfall’s Game Pass release, including what subscription tier you’ll need to access Rebellion Developments’ highly-anticipated action survival game.

Is Atomfall coming to Game Pass?

Atomfall is set to land on Gamepass on day one to match the worldwide release on March 27, 2025, for PC and Xbox Series X|S. Here’s a handy table explaining what tier you’ll need to play Atomfall through Game Pass:

TierDay One AccessPlatformPrice
CoreNoConsole$9.99/£6.99 per month
StandardNoConsole$14.99£10.99 per month
UltimateYesConsole/PC$19.99/£14.99 per month
PC Game PassYesPC$11.99/£9.99 per month

So, parsing through all that, you’ll need to have an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription to play on Xbox Series X|S on day one or anytime after that. As for PC, the standard PC Game Pass subscription will do the job, as will a Game Pass ultimate subscription.

If you’re tempted to sign up to Game Pass for Atomfall, Xbox has a promotion that gives you 14 days of PC Game Pass for £1/$1 (then £9.99/$11.99 per month after that). 14 days should be plenty of time to hit the credits so the deal is well worth picking up if you want to play but aren’t interested in the rest of the PC Game Pass catalog.
